Isollat at Korea Maritime Mobility Safety Expo 2024

The Korea Maritime Mobility Safety Expo 2024 was held in Busan, South Korea from September 10 to 12, 2024, and was an important event in the Korean Maritime Week. The exhibition focused on the latest developments in maritime safety and enhancing maritime disaster response capabilities using high technology. Among the participants were our key partners in the region, CNT. They presented our company's products at the event - the ISOLLAT line of thermal insulating liquid-ceramic coatings.

ISOLLAT coatings are characterized by high performance and have international certificates confirming their consumer properties. In particular, the modification of “ ISOLLAT-02” coating has a certificate of the International Maritime Register of Shipping, which allows to use it on ships and shipyards of the states that have signed the Marine Equipment Directive 96/98/EC. This coating has a wide range of applications, thanks to which today many ships around the world have been modernized and repaired using “ ISOLLAT-02”.

Separately, CNT demonstrated the performance of ISOLLAT-05 flame retardant coating in front of the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries of South Korea together with his delegation and high-ranking officials. This innovative material is designed to protect steel structures when exposed to open flames. A special feature of ISOLLAT-05 is its ability to increase in size when heated, creating a protective barrier during the blowing process. The demonstration, impressive in its spectacularity, received a great applause and positive feedback from the high-ranking officials present at the event.
