Isollat-04

White insulation paint.

Purpose
Isollat-04 insulating material based on silicone is designed for insulation of high temperature surfaces.
Isollat-04 can be easily used within temperatures from +5 to + 700ºС
Applications
- heat insulation of steam pipes;
- heat Insulation of chimneys;
- heat Insulation of flues;
- heat insulation of industrial equipment.
Preparing Isollat-04 liquid-ceramic coating for application:
- before each use, or after interrupting work, the coating should be thoroughly mixed (it is better to mix coating until homogeneous cream-like consistency). In order to avoid destruction of hollow ceramic beads, the stirring speed should not exceed 150 revolutions per minute);
- it is not recommended to dilute Isollat-04.
Preparing surfaces for applying Isollat coating:
Before applying Isollat-04 coating, the surface should be cleaned from all possible dirt and old coatings. After that the surface should be degreased.
Recommendations for applying Isollat-04
- The first coating layer of "Isollat 04' should be applied with thickness of 0.3-0.5 mm, after that the surface should be wrapped with fiberglass reinforcing mesh 2*2 or 4*4 mm. Drying time is 24 hours at temperature not lower than + 8 C.
- Subsequent layers should be applied on a similar principle to reach the desired total thickness of the coating.
After work, thoroughly wash brushes, spray guns with water.
ATTENTION: for more effective insulation, Isollat-04 is used together with glass tissue IPS-T-1000.
When working with Isollat-04, the following should be used:
- breathing mask ZM 7500;
- chemical goggles;
- chemical gloves and protective clothing.
